Live Oak searched the EHD well and septic permit files on March 18, 2011 for the Site
address. The following four permits were identified:
• October 1973 permit for pump installation at well east of hay barn (northern
shop).
• May 1977 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system utilizes a
1,200-gallon septic tank and two 90-foot leach lines.
• December 1981 permit for pump repair at domestic well east of hay barn.
• December 1990 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system
utilizes a 1,200-gallon septic tank and three 100-foot leach lines.
A monitoring well permit from 1990 was also identified. According to the permit, CH2M
Hill drilled five groundwater monitoring wells around the perimeter of an area owned by
K&L Farms; the area included the subject Site, adjacent New Jerusalem Airport, and
additional land to the north and south. The figure attached to the permit is labeled "City
of Tracy Sludge Land Application Demonstration Project Area Map." Live Oak was not
able to determine any further information about this project or the monitoring wells.
Copies of the EHD records have been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated sites
through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the
Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The SWRCB's GeoTracker database
includes underground storage tank (UST) sites, leaking underground storage tank
(LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land disposal sites. DTSC's EnviroStor
database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response sites, voluntary cleanup
sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and permitted hazardous waste
facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on March 17, 2011 for any listed sites within one-
quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database. Two listed
facilities were identified within one-quarter mile:
• San Joaquin City Resort, 30836 S. Airport Way. Closed LUST case. According
to the information on GeoTracker, a leak was discovered in 1989; the case was
closed in 1997. The case involved a gasoline impact to soil. This facility is
located approximately 950 feet east of the project Site.
LOGE 1115 Page 6
