It is alleged that the potato <br /> equipment is simply general manufacturing as it is not related to agriculture in the local <br /> economy." <br /> Resmnse to Aooeai Statement <br /> A Site Approval application is not limited to a 25 percent expansion;it can expand a use greater than 25 <br /> percent The extent of the expansion Is shown on the Revised Site Plan dated February 5,2002. <br /> Development Tide Section 5-115.412 provides an explanation of the Custom Agricultural Manufacturing use <br /> type. The following definition is inducted in Condition 1.b:: 'The Custom Agricultural Mariutacturirg use type <br /> includes the manufachuring and repair of agricultural equipment where such equipment is <br /> prl vw*used to support the agricultural economy. Customized agricultural equipment includes specialty <br /> sgrk ukural equipment which is not commonly available to farmers on the rets market. For a business to <br /> meet the requiverrAints of this use type,they'must manufacture and repair custom equipment that is primarily <br /> used lo the agricultural economy.'_The Community Development Department required that the applicants <br /> provide a new Site PlanInd.dicating additional detail;partly as a mutt of comments from neighbors. The drainage pattern and <br /> corresponding storm drain improvements shall be shown on the Improvement Plan. Drainage <br /> calculations prepared by a registered civil engineer or architect shall be included.
