Whsle the County has <br /> indicated that there is an Initial Study available, the County has not yet submitted it <br /> to Caltrans District '10 for review. <br /> Without the environmental doctunernt to review, it is impossible to ascertain the <br /> environmental impacts of this project to the State Transportation System. This is <br /> especially important when there is the project is adjacent to the right of way, contains <br /> a direct encroachment, or land dedication to the State of California_ [see attachment] <br /> Please submit the CEQA document for this project to Caltrans District 10 for <br /> immediate review or we request a scoping meeting, in accordance with Public <br /> Resources Code 21083.9, to be held within thirty clays of this response, This meeting <br /> will be held in District 10 main office, Stockton. In many instances, the completed <br /> CEQA environmental document has been accepted as an alternative to this meeting. <br /> Please forward all Final Conditions of Approval including any mitigation measures <br /> that are being proposed as well as any other documents and reports (i.e. all forms of <br /> environmental documents, Traffic Impact Study Reports, site and Location Maps, <br /> etc) on this proposed Project for our review, comment, and records.
