January 9,2002 NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER LE01-330 Trudy of the San Joaquin County Department of Fire Prevention reported that there are no (0)files for the subject property and no (0)files within about 1/4 mile. 5. San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted in an effort to determine whether the subject property had been used in the past for agricultural purposes, and whether agricultural chemicals had been used on the subject property. Ac.-ding to Hazel Gallegos of the Commissioner's office, no agricultural pesticide use records were found related to the subject property. 6. Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System The San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health was contacted in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. The Department of Environmental Health could not find any records for water wells or septic tanks on the subject property, however,_it was noted that this did not mean they do not exist. 7. San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District(SJVAPCD)was contacted in an effort to obtain information as to whether any agricultural bum permits have been issued for the subject property. The SJVAPCD records revealed one permit for controlled burning on the property expumg on December 31,2002. The permit allows the burning of weeds,other prunings,ditchbank and canal. There were no reported violations. 8. California InteErated Waste Management Board The Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) database is maintained by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The SWIS database contains an inventory of solid waste disposal facilities or landfills. Th.-=~:y be active or inactive facilities or open dumps tha.k .:Icd to meet RCRA Section 2204 criteria for solid waste landfills or disposal sites. The SWIS database list was reviewed for reference to the subject property and to sites located within one-quarter(1/4)mile of the subject property. Our review of the SWIS database list dated May 2001 noted that the subject property does not appear on the SWIS database at this time. The SWIS database lists no (0) sites that are within 1/4 mile radius. 7
