Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report****APN: 055-170-11****Parcel Nos.1,2 and 3 8
APN: 055-250-27
Typically the surface layer is grayish brown fine sandy loam about 19"thick. The
subsoil is grayish brown, brown and pale brown fine sandy loam about 26"thick. The
substratum to a depth of 60"is pale brown fine sandy loam.
Permeability is moderately rapid in the Tokay soil. The effective rooting depth is
60" or more. Runoff is slow, and the hazard of water erosion is slight. The rate of water
intake in irrigated areas is 1.5"per hour. The hazard of soil blowing is moderate.
Most areas are used for irrigated crops, orchards and vineyards with a few areas
used for homesites. This unit may provide wetland functions and values. These should be
considered in plans for enhancement of wildlife habitat or land use conversion. General
management considerations include the hazard of soil blowing. A tillage pan forms easily
if the soil is tilled when wet. Chiseling or subsoiling breakes up the hardpan. Few
limitations affect the use of this unit for homesite development.
The characteristics of the two soils to be encountered at various depths
below the ground surface are as follows:
ACAMPO SANDY LOAM
Depth Liquid Plasticity Percent Permeability Shrink-
In Inches Material Limit Index Clay (Inches/Hour) Swell
0" - 19" Sandy Loam 20-30 NP - 5 7 - 18 2.0-6.0 Low
19" - 47" Sandy Loam, 20-30 NP - 5 7 - 15 2.0 - 6.0 Low
Fine Sandy
Loam, Coarse
Sandy Loam
47" -49" Indurated ------- — - --- - --------- Low
49"—60" Cemented -------- ------- ------- --------- Low
TOKAY FINE SANDY LOAM
Depth Liquid Plasticity Percent Permeability Shrink-
In Inches Material Limit Index Clay (Inches/flour) Swell
0"- 19" Fine Sandy Loam 20 - 30 NP - 5 10 - 15 2.0-6.0 Low
19" -45" Fine Sandy Loam, 20 - 30 NP- 5 10 - 18 2.0-6.0 Low
Sandy Loam
45" - 60" Fine Sandy Loam, 20 - 30 NP - 5 8- 15 2.0-6.0 Low
Sandy Loam,
Coarse Sandy
Loam
DBCP & NITRATE CONCENTRATIONS& UNDERGROUND TANKS DATA
Maps entitled"DBCP and Nitrate—Land Use"available in the Environmental
Health Department's office were consulted and contained the following data.
Iqbaljit&Manjiet K.Rai,Trustees and, 3400 West Kingdon Road and,Lodi,CA 95242
An.P k Rnaemary Mnnttana Tniatc q 1lUr North Nw Ipv Rnad T ndi CA 05949
