Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report****APN: 055-170-11""Parcel Nos.1,2 and 3 7
APN:055-250-27
These soils produce grass, herbaceous plants, with willows, cottonwoods and oaks
where moisture is available.
These soils are highly valued for agriculture and produce a wide variety of crops.
Most soils are irrigated.
Hanford Sandy Loam has a Storie rating of 95 percent and is one of the most
productive soils in San Joaquin County.
The University of California publication entitled"Soils of San Joaquin County,
California,United States Department of Agricultural Soil Conservation Service", issued
October 1992, lists Acampo Sandy Loam,0 to 2 percent slopes, as the main soil
classification that will be encountered on the subject property with a small quantity of
Tokay Fine Sandy Loam in the southwest comer.
ACAMPO SANDY LOAM(0 to 2 percent sIgNs)
Acampo Sandy Loam soil is moderately well drained and on low fan terraces and
is nearly level soil. It is deep to hardpan and is formed in alluvium derived from grinitic
rock sources. A few areas are dissected by intermittent sloughs that have been filled as a
result of land leveling.
Typically the surface layer is brown sandy loam about 19"thick. The upper part
of the subsoil is pale brown and light yellowish brown sandy loam which extends to a
depth of 47". The next part is an indurated hardpan, which extends to a depth of 49". The
lower part to a depth of 60" is a variegated brownish yellow and yellowish brown,
weakly cemented to a strongly cemented hardpan. In some areas the surface layer is fine
sandy loam or loam.
Permeability is moderately rapid in the Acampo soil. The effective rooting depth
is limited by the hardpan to a depth of 40"to 60". Depth to the water table is more than
6', but water may be briefly perched above the hardpan after periods of heavy rainfall or
irrigation runoff. Runoff is slow and the hazard of water erosion is slight. The rate of
water intake in irrigated areas is 1.5" per hour. The hazard of soil blowing is moderate.
Most areas are used for irrigated crops, orchards and vineyards. A tillage pan
fortes easily if the soil is tilled when wet. Chiseling or subsoiling breaks up the hardpan
and is especially helpful if the area is to be used for homesites.
TOKAY FINE SANDY LOAM(0 TO 2 PERCENT SLOPES)
This is a very deep, well drained, nearly level soil is on low fan terraces. It is
formed in alluvium derived from grinitic rock sources. A few areas are dissected by
intermittent sloughs that have been filled as a result of land leveling.
Igbaljit&Manjiet K.Rai,Trustees and, 3400 West Kingdon Road and,Lodi, CA 95242
Anae k Rnaemary Mnnttana Tmetr 11946 Nnrth Nw 1Rnad r ndi ('A()5747
