Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report****APN: 055-170-11****Parcel Nos.1,2 and 3 5 APN:055-250-27 Three(3)of the permits reviewed along Kingdon Road were for leach fields containing from one(1)to three(3) leach lines varying from forty(40)to fifty(50) long. The other three (3) permits reviewed along Kingdon Road were for installing additional leach lines to existing systems varying from fifty(50)to eighty(80) feet long. Three(3) of the six (6)permits reviewed along Kingdon Road listed the soil type as sandy loam. One listed the soil as sand. Another one listed the soil as clay and the remaining one did not list a soil type. The permit for the house located in the southwest comer of the subject property on Neeley Road consisted of installing one(1) leach line one hundred(100)feet in length. One(1)of the permits reviewed along Neeley Road involved replacing an existing septic tank with an increased sized one and adding a one hundred(100) feet long leach line. Three(3)of the permits reviewed were for new leach field installations involving constructing from one(1)to three(3) leach lines varying in length from eighty (80) feet to one hundred(100)feet long. The remaining three (3)permits involved constructing one (1)to three(3)leach lines each forty(40)feet long with sumps at their ends varying in size as follows: 2'x 8'x8', 2'X10'xl O' and 2'x36'xl2'. Five(5)of the eight(8)permits reviewed listed the soil type as sandy loam. One(1)listed the soil as clay loam. Another listed the soil as adobe and the remaining permit did not list a soil type. No permits were noted for repairing any of the facilities subsequent to their installation. From the historical septic records there is no indication of septic contamination problems. Possible Nitrate Pollution: Except for a few dogs,no other animals were seen on the subject property so there does not appear to be any undue nitrate concentrations because of an overpopulation of animals. Possible Chemical Use Contamination In Cron Production and Nursery Use: A large portion of the subject property has been in the past and is presently a vineyard producing grapes and the vineyard is known as the Roma Vineyard. A nursery also has been established on the subject property, located at 3400 West Kingdon Road,consisting of six (6)greenhouses. A small portion mostly around the home constructed on Parcel 3 is presently just open land with no crops being grown on it presently. Thgy2perty owner has informed mP in an en.�ironmenLl 4,tesrinnnaire that the followine chemicals have been applied on the subject property on the crops that have been produced over the last twent-six(26)years as follows: Sulfur,Paraquat,Roundup,Rally Simmizene and Goal. The diseases, insects and mites, nematode and weeds normally controlled by pesticides and herbicides are listed in"Exhibit A" which is included and made an integral part of this report.
