In the 1952 and 1963 photos, no significant changes are apparent.
In the 1975 photo, the structures have been removed from the northern side of the Site
to make room for the Highway 132 right of way. A structure can be seen in the
southeast comer of Parcel -10. Ohm Road is visible to the west of the Site.
In the 1983 photo, the shop building can be seen on the south side of Parcel -10. Most
of Parcel -10 now appears to be orchard.
In the 1998 photo, the orchard covers Parcel -10 and the northern half of Parcel -01.
Two additional structures (mobile homes) can be seen to the west of the shop on Parcel
-10.
In the 2002 photo, a natural gas pipeline can be clearly seen crossing Parcel -01.
In the 2008 photo, the pipeline can no longer be seen so clearly. No other significant
changes are apparent.
These photos are included in Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the site on May 9, 2011. Photographs of the Site are attached to
this report as Appendix 2. The perimeter of the Site was inspected, as well as the
major features visible from this vantage. Live Oak was accompanied by Carl Navarra
for the site inspection. The interiors of the structures were not inspected except where
volunteered by Mr. Navarra. The area surrounding the shop was surfaced with gravel,
preventing inspection of the soil surface.
Parcel -01
The northern portion of this parcel is planted with almond orchard; the southern portion
is open agricultural land. Along the northern property line a swath of land has been left
vacant as a right-of-way for Highway 132. In the northeast corner of the parcel is an
irrigation water return sump. There are two pole-mounted transformers and a pump at
this location. Nearby is an area for agricultural equipment storage. An irrigation well
and shed are located on the south side of the parcel.
Parcel -10
This parcel is an almond orchard. A swath near the northern property line has been left
vacant as a right-of-way for Highway 132; a similar area has been left vacant along the
southern property line as a right-of-way for the Hetch Hetchy Aqueduct.
