The proposed _ <br /> Project would result in a significant impact on transportation and circulation if it <br /> would: <br /> ■ generate significant traffic volumes and/or make a significant contribution to <br /> an existing circulation problem; <br /> ■ substantially increase the use of roads by transporting construction materials <br /> and crews to the work area; <br /> ■ substantially increase the traffic delay experienced by drivers; <br /> ■ substantially alter present patterns of circulation or movement; or <br /> Specifically,this Project would have a significant impact on traffic if it would: _ <br /> ■ cause special transportation considerations such as disruptions to pedestrian <br /> and bicycle traffic or public transportation systems; <br /> ■ change the level of service of a county roadway segment or intersection from <br /> an acceptable level(LOS C)to an unacceptable level (LOS D or worse); <br /> ■ change the level of service on a state highway from an acceptable level (LOS <br /> D)to an unacceptable level(LOS E or worse);or <br /> ■ exacerbate conditions on a roadway or at an intersection that currently _ <br /> operates at an unacceptable level of service. <br /> DeSilva Gates Quarry Project — <br /> Draft Environmental Impact Report 31-38 <br /> gasas WM <br />
