At the same time, the section of Bird Road from the intersection with <br /> Blewett Road north to the intersection with SR-132 was improved to a two-lane, 40-foot wide paved - <br /> roadway (two 16-foot travel lanes with 4-foot shoulders). San Joaquin County's current typical section <br /> for a rural collector is a 40-foot wide paved roadway. The existing roadway cross section is consistent <br /> with current County standards _ <br /> Between SR-132 and Blewett Road, Koster Road is a two-lane County rural road with a 20-22 foot paved <br /> width with little or no shoulders. San Joaquin County's current typical cross section for a rural road is a _ <br /> 32-Foot paved roadway. The existing roadway cross section would be considered nonstandard based on <br /> the current County standards. <br /> Between Bird Road and Koster Road, Blewett Road is a two-lane County Waal road. Between Koster <br /> Road west to the approaches to the Blewett Road over crossing over I-5 and from just to the west of the <br /> California Aqueduct bridge to Bird Road, Blewett Road has a 20-22 foot paved width with no shoulders. <br /> The existing roadway cross section within these segments would be considered nonstandard based on the - <br /> current County rural road standard of 32-foot paved width.
