The quarry operates from 1:30 a.m.-to 5:30 p.m. twelve' <br /> (12) months a year. Daily activities include excavation and the processing and <br /> transporting of materials. The revised hours of operation are proposed as follows: <br /> • November 1 —April 30 (6 months <br /> o Excavation, processing of materials, and transport of materials to 6ccur <br /> between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.-(16-hour shift) <br /> • <br /> May 1 —October 31 6 months): <br /> o Excavation and processing of materials to occur between 7:00 p.m. and <br /> 11:00 a.m. (16-hour shift) <br /> o Transport of materials to occur between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00" m,,(16-hours, <br /> shift) <br /> o The two shifts would overlap with specific activities permitted within each " <br /> time frame. <br /> The site is located on the west side of Koster Road, 2,100 feet south of Blewett Road, ` <br /> southeast of Tracy, The site is designated OS/RC (Open Space Resource. <br /> Conservation) and AIG (General Agriculture) in the General Plan and is zoned AG-40 <br /> (General Agriculture-40 acre minimum). <br /> This project is tentatively scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission on i <br /> February 6, 2003, The Community Development Department has reviewed the Revision <br /> of Approved Actions application and responses from other agencies and will be <br /> recommending that the Planning Commission approve the project subject to the <br /> following recommended Conditions of Approval. <br /> • p <br />
