PARKING <br /> The Site Plan dated March 17, 2003 shows parking spaces with dimensions of 9'X 17'for <br /> full-size spaces and 8' X 14' for compact spaces. Development Title Section 9-015.5(b) <br /> (1) requires full size parking spaces to be 9' X 20' and Section 9-1015.5(c)(1) requires <br /> compact spaces to be 7.5' X 16'. Section 9-1015.5(b)(2) provides for a 2' reduction in <br /> length when a concrete curb around a planter functions as a wheel stop, provided the <br /> planter is at least 5'wide. The proposed parking spaces do not meet the Development <br /> Title requirement. However, it appears that there is sufficient area to make the required <br /> adjustments. <br /> CONCLUSION: The Community Development Department cannot make all of the required <br /> findings in order to approve the proposed Site Approval.
