A review of <br /> ` "Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge" files within 1/4 mile of the subject property revealed <br /> no (0)reported spills or releases. <br /> 4. Clements Rural Fire Protection District <br /> Inquiries were made with the San Joaquin County Department of Fire Prevention in order to obtain <br /> r„ information regarding hazardous materials storage, releases or spills, underground storage tanks, <br /> above ground storage tanks, or leaking underground storage tanks on the subject property or in the <br /> vicinity of the subject property. Staff at the San Joaquin County Department of Fire Prevention <br /> referred NOA to the Clements Rural Fire Protection District. <br /> The Clements Rural Fire Protection District was contacted by telephone in an attempt to determine <br /> if there are any files present at that agency which note any hazardous materials storage, releases or <br /> spills,underground storage tanks, above ground storage tanks,or leaking underground storage tanks <br /> on the subject property or in the vicinity of the subject property. <br /> According to staff at the Clements Rural Fire Protection District,they do not keep files for storage <br /> tanks or other related threats of environmental degradation. The same source revealed that their files <br /> for incidents are accessible only chronologically. According to ASTM 1527-00, Section 7.1.4.3, <br /> "Records that are sorted, filed, organized, or maintained by the source agency only chronologically <br /> are not generally practically reviewable." <br /> 5. San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted in an effort to determine <br /> whether the subject property had been used in the past for agricultural purposes, and whether <br /> agricultural chemicals had been used on the subject property. According to Ms. Hazel Gallegos of <br /> the Commissioner's office, no agricultural pesticide use records were found related to the subject <br /> property under the name of Art Haskins. <br /> 6. Water Suooly and Sewage Disposal System <br /> .. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division(EHD)was contacted in an effort to obtain <br /> copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. According to Ms. Tami <br /> Lowe of the EHD, there are no records for water wells or septic tanks on the subject property; <br /> 6- however, it was noted that this does not mean that the wells and/or septic tanks do not exist. <br /> 8 <br /> v <br />
