San Joaquin County 1./
Community Development Department
April 25, 2006
Page 2
to the site would increase the danger at the time the children
are coming and going.
There are relatively few children in the neighborhood.
3 . The location is totally inappropriate for thirty
children.
The application is for thirty (30) children.
The subject property does not appear large. The noise and
activity would be incompatible with the neighborhood.
4 . The Proposed parking burden is inappropriate for the
neighborhood.
Up to thirty additional vehicles would be arriving and
departing during the day to drop off and pick up small children,
and there would be additional vehicles for staff, medical care
persons and vendors . The curb would accommodate two of those
vehicles, and others would spread a great distance up and down
the street.
The site would not be safe for the children.
Conclusion
The proposed use would greatly deflate property values of
adjoining properties .
This letter confirms our oral request to be put on the
mailing list, to be notified of the time and date of the hearing
and confirms our oral request for a copy of the Initial Study and
proposed Negative Declaration.
Very truly yours,
RICHARD W.
