RECEIVED
APR 2 5 2006 James D. Rooke
Community Development Dept 1035 Stanton Way
Stockton, California 95207
April 24, 2006
Community Development Department
San Joaquin County
1810 E. Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
Re: Use permit application#PA-0600193, 1104 W Lincoln Road, Stockton, 95207
Dear Sirs:
Our family OPPOSES the Use Permit application for child care services at 1104
Lincoln Road for the following reasons:
• This use is not consistent with the residential atmosphere of the neighborhood
and will degrade the quality of the neighborhood.
• The proposed paved drive-thru driveway will create a commercial appearance to
the property especially when coupled with expected signage. .
• The 30 child limit in the Use Permit would result in a daily use density well
above that of the neighborhood environment. It would be hard to imagine how
30 children and staff could gracefully fit into this size dwelling and on this lot.
Sin'dre lyyo
ames D. Rooke
