7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated
sites through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The
SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites,
leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land
disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list.
DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on February 27, 2019 for any listed sites
within one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either
database, and no listed facilities were identified within one-quarter mile.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground Storage
Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Site Mitigation, and Site Mitigation and
LOPs lists, dated March 2018, for facilities of concern within one-quarter mile of
the Site. The subject Site was not included on the list. Four facilities were
identified within the search radius:
• Benjamin Hillman/A. Nelson, 257 W. Clayton, 1137 S. Golden Gate,
Underground Storage Tanks list. This facility is located over 800 feet
north of the Site. Based on its distance from the Site and the type of
databases on which it is listed, this facility is not anticipated to have
impacted the subject Site.
• Del Rio West Pallet, 3845 S. El Dorado, Underground Storage Tanks,
Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators lists. Based on
nearby addresses, this facility is likely located approximately over 700
feet east-northeast of the Site. Based on its distance from the Site and
the types of databases on which it is listed, this facility is not anticipated
to have impacted the subject Site.
• BonaDonnas Asphalt Repair, 3883/3927 S. EI Dorado, Underground
Storage Tanks, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators,
Aboveground Storage Tanks lists. This facility is located approximately
600 feet east of the Site. Based on its distance from the Site and the
types of databases on which it is listed, this facility is not anticipated to
have impacted the subject Site.
LOGE 1905 5
