He stated that two "barn water storage" ponds, now drained, are present on the <br /> property. <br /> 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> L3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> Our office reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (July 2003), the Water <br /> Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE (July 2003), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and <br /> Cleanups (SLIC) list (1st Quarter 2003) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board(CVRWQCB)in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency <br /> which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject <br /> property or within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. <br /> The subject property was not listed on any of these databases. No addresses were found on these <br /> databases within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.1.2 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> Inquiries were made with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) to <br /> review file information for the subject property. According to Ms. Kimberly Campbell of the EHD, <br /> only a dairy file was found (personal communication, September 24, 2003). This file was reviewed <br /> at the EHD on September 24, 2003. According to the file,the facility previously housed 400 cows, <br /> but they were relocated to Texas;the last milk was shipped on November 13,2002. Several notices <br /> for illegal bacterial counts were included in the file as well, the most recent from August 21, 2002. <br /> The Underground Tank Site Mitigation Database, dated January 28, 2003, and the Other Agency <br /> Lead list, dated February 15, 2001, were reviewed at the EHD on September 24, 2003. No <br /> �- properties within one-quarter mile were found on either list. The UST Program Facility Inventory <br /> by Facility Name, dated April 1, 2001, was searched for the name of Van de Pol. One record was <br /> found for Van de Pol Enterprises, Inc. at 816 Frontage Road, Ripon,this listing has been included <br /> in Appendix G. <br /> y <br /> 7 <br />
