�- October 31,2003 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER LE03-311 <br /> • Three above-ground storage tanks were observed on the subject property during the site visit. <br /> One of these appeared to be a recycled diesel tank. <br /> • Mounds of manure are present across the western portion of the subject property from its <br /> former use as a dairy. <br /> • Review of topographic maps revealed a well near the northeastern corner of the subject <br /> property;this well could be considered a potential groundwater contamination pathway if it <br /> is no longer in use but has not been appropriately abandoned. <br /> 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Five transformers were observed on the subject property and five along the property <br /> boundaries. All appeared to be old. <br /> • A pile of tires was observed north of the milking barn on the subject property. <br /> • Potential product application tanks were observed in two locations on the subject property. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Potential Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> past uses of surrounding properties. <br /> 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> • An above-ground storage tank was observed on an adjacent property across Steinegul Road <br /> to the west. <br /> 12 <br />
