Mr. Richard Larrouy Page 2 of 2
November 8, 1993
The District is pursuing a number of measures to alleviate school overcrowding. However all of
these measures are limited and, even when taken altogether, are inadequate to meet the needs
of a growing enrollment. The District requests that new residential developments, including
this project if there are no warranties regarding future occupancy, be approved only when there
are adequate school facilities to serve students from the development.
In 1992, the District Governing Board established a standard agreement, and an amount that
could be paid in the form of a supplemental development fee to provide for adequate school
facilities to serve new development. If provisions are not made for adequate school facilities to
serve this development, the District will request that the project be denied. We will attempt
to contact the applicant by telephone and will also send a copy of this letter to both the
applicant and the engineer.
If I may provide additional information, or respond to questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
oan Starr
Facility Planner
cc: Toyokazu Sasaki c/o Joe Rios
Cecil Dillon, Dillon Engineering
I
