Recommendations <br /> Action <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration; <br /> 2. Forward General Plan Map Amendment No. PA-0700359 to the Board of Supervisors with a <br /> recommendation of intent to approve based on the ability to make the required "Basis for <br /> General Plan Map Amendment;" and <br /> 3. Forward Zone Reclassification No. PA-0700571 to the Board of Supervisors with a <br /> recommendation of intent to approve based on the ability to make the required "Bases for Zone <br /> Reclassification." <br /> Basis for General Plan Amendment <br /> 1 The internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in the adoption of the Amendment. <br /> • This determination can be made because the proposed location is consistent with the <br /> development and locational criteria for the C/FS designation contained in the General <br /> Plan. The project site is located adjacent to a full freeway interchange at State Route 99 <br /> and Eight Mile Road, and is easily accessible and visible to a freeway traveler as <br /> required by Development and Locational Criteria for Freeway Service Commercial areas <br /> Bases for Zone Reclassification <br /> 1 The proposed zone district is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master Plans, and <br /> any applicable Specific Plans. <br /> • If the Board of Supervisors approves the General Plan Amendment, then this Zone <br /> Reclassification would be consistent with the General Plan.There are no applicable <br /> Master Plans in the vicinity. <br /> 2.
