5. If crossing a pipeline conveyance of septage,sewage, or storm water, the new water line shall <br /> be constructed no less than 45 degreess to and at least one foot above that pipeline. No <br /> connection joints shall be made in the water line within eight horizontal feet of the fluid pipeline. <br /> 6. The new water lines shall be disinfected and then tested by a California certified laboratory for <br /> chlorine residuals and Total coliforms bacteria. Laboratory results that report the new line to be <br /> absent for coliform bacterial and non-detect for chlorine shall be submitted to EHD prior to <br /> making a connection to the Public Water System. <br /> c) Submit to the Environmental Health Department revised site plans showing the maximum number <br /> of persons the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans <br /> that the leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a <br /> storage area.This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only,and it cannot contain <br /> any underground utility lines(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> In addition,the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100%designed sewage disposal replacement <br /> area. <br /> d) Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation under permit and inspection <br /> by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.3&9-1110.4). <br /> e) Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br /> f) Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The Environmental <br /> Health Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br /> Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the owner/operator must <br /> report to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) which can be found at <br /> cers.calepa.ca.gov/for the following: <br /> • Onsite treatment of hazardous waste — Hazardous Waste Treatment Tiered Permitting <br /> Program <br /> • Reportable quantities of hazardous materials-reportable quantities are 55 gallons or more <br /> of liquids, 500 pounds for solids, or 200 cubic feet for compressed gases, with some <br /> exceptions. Carbon dioxide is a regulated substance and is required to be reported as a <br /> hazardous material if storing 1,200 cubic feet(137 pounds)or more onsite in San Joaquin <br /> County—Hazardous Materials Business Plan Program <br /> • Any amount of hazardous material stored in an Underground Storage Tank—Underground <br /> Storage Tank Program <br /> • Storage of at least 1,320 gallons of petroleum aboveground or any amount of petroleum <br /> stored below grade in a vault—Aboveground Petroleum Storage Program <br /> • Threshold quantities of regulated substances stored onsite-California Accidental Release <br /> Prevention (CaIARP) Program. <br /> g) If an underground storage tank(UST)system will be installed, a permit is required to be submitted <br /> to,and approved by,the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)before any <br /> UST installation work can begin. Additionally, an EHD permit to operate the UST is required once <br /> the UST system in installed. <br />
