5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Property Owners <br /> Mr. Mathfallu was interviewed during the site visit on November 7, 2014. At this <br /> time, he stated that he has owned he Site approximately three years and had <br /> leased it for five years prior to that. Mr. Mathfallu stated that the same tenants <br /> farmers have been farming the Site for many years; to his knowledge, they do <br /> not use any chemicals in their farming practices. He indicated that the house on <br /> the Site was built around 1950. He was not aware of any storage tanks, <br /> chemical storage, dumping of hazardous materials, or other environmental <br /> concerns affecting the Site. <br /> 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br /> 6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted <br /> regarding the Site addresses of 18787 and 18915 North Highway 99 West <br /> Frontage Road. According to Cheryl Field, no records were on file for these <br /> addresses (Personal Communication, October 28, 2014). <br /> Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> well and septic permit files for the Site addresses; two permits were identified: <br /> • April 1971 permit for addition of 100 feet of leach line to existing <br /> residential septic system. The permit depicts a domestic well at the <br /> northwest corner of the house. <br /> • October 1981 permit to recondition an irrigation well. <br /> Copies of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department records <br /> have been included in Appendix 4 of this report. <br /> 7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH <br /> 7.1 EPA Databases_ <br /> The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated <br /> sites through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board <br /> (SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The <br /> SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites, <br /> leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land <br /> disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the <br /> Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list. <br /> LOGE 1416 4 <br />
