(1) The proposed use will change the occupancy from a Group U occupancy to Groups M, B and S <br /> occupancies (U.B.C. Section 3405). The structure must be brought into compliance with all <br /> current code provisions including structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy and <br /> disabled access requirements. <br /> n. CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with the California Fire Code and the <br /> standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (2) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with the California Fire Code Key <br /> Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (3) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property in accordance with the California Fire Code. <br /> A. Note: Existing entrance width of 18 feet will be acceptable per Woodbridge Fire District. <br /> Gates or other modifications to the fire access will have to be approved by the fire district. <br /> 2.
