d. An encroachment permit shall be required for work within the road right-of-way. (Development Title Sections 9-1145.4 and 9-1145.5) e. No excavations are permitted into the ground water table without specific approval from the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (California Water Code, Chapter 4, Article 3, Section 13240). b. The materials from an excavation shall not be deposited into any watercourse or in any way contribute to the pollution thereof(California Water Code, Section 13376). c. An approved potable water supply must be provided for all employees (Development Title Section 9-1100.1). d Approved sanitary facilities must be provided for all employees (Development Title Section 9- 1100.1). 4 SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN IRRIGATION DISTRICT (Staff Contact: Sam Bologna, 823-3101, ext. 111) a. The owner shall be required to replace the existing pipeline and relocate it to a location along the outer perimeter of the excavation. b. The owner shall be required to submit plans to the district for review and approval by the South San Joaquin Irrigation District's Board of Directors. The following are minimum standards and conditions which shall be required to be incorporated as standards notes on the plans (1) The land owner agrees not to perform any excavation or grading within the SSJID easement or within 15 feet of the centerline of the pipeline, whichever is greater. (2) Excavations adjacent to District easements and/or facilities shall have a minimum 3:1 slope from the excavated field to the top of the berm. (3) The landowner will take such steps as are required by the SSJID Water Superintendent to remedy any erosion on banks adjacent to the District's facilities. (4) No soil will lie stockpiled over the SSJID pipeline. (5) No heavy equipment will travel over the SSJID pipeline without approved bridging, with said bridging to be approved between SSJID and the contractor. (6) No trees and/or rubbish will be disposed of or stored on the SSJID easement or facilities (7) SSJID will be notified 48 hours in advance of any excavation work. (8) The land owner agrees that the existing pipeline or concrete lined canal do not presently leak and agrees that any damage will be repaired at the land owner's expense (9) It is understood by the applicant that the District shall not be held responsible to remedy high water table problems created by the excavation.
