WORK UNIT - The WORK IiNIT or WORK UNITS means those improvements and only those improvements for which PLANS and DRAWINGS and STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS are submitted by OWNER to DISTRICT and which is represented by OWNER to DISTRICT as a single unit of improvements to DISTRICT facilities which are approved in advance by DISTRICT. 1-2 SUPERVISION A.'VD SUPM.NTENDENCE The OWNER shall supervise and direct WORK competently and efficiently, devoting such attention thereto and applying s.:ch skills and expertise as maybe necessryto perform WORK in accordance with the AGREEMENT and the approved PLANS and DRAWINGS and STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. The OWNER shall be responsible to see that the installed equipment,rnaterials, supplies,and services comply with the PLANS and DRAWINGS and STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. The review by the DISTRICT of the OWNER'S PLANS and DRAWINGS and STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS is only to assure general conformity of the OW N7ER'S development concept as it relates to the DISTRICTS irrigation and drainage needs and shall not be const-ued as relieving the OWNER of the full responsibility for: providing materials, equipment,and WORK required by the development;and forperformin¢WORK in a safe and cM cient manner and otherwise complying with the terms and condi tions of the AGREEMENT. 1-3 ^rt" ITY AND SAFETY OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT Ali equipment, materials, and supplies shall be new, unless otherwise specified. All equipment, materials, and supplies shall be produced in a good and workmanlike manner.
