v 1"W
RECIEVED
OCT 2 2 200;
October 20, 2007
Community Development Dept.
Kevin Swanson
San Joaquin County Development Department
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Re: PA-0700055 (SU)
Dear Mr. Swanson and Committee Members:
Once again I am appalled with the thought of allowing seven lots to replace two lots in
Riviera Cliffs. All of the residents out here bought homes in a"quiet" subdivision. As I
look over your letter, the property is zoned R-L (Low Density Residential), as well as the
General Plan R-L(Low Density Residential). In Riviera Cliffs, I would classify the
"Proposal" as"High Density Residential."
There have been proposed"suits"against the port for"noise,""lights"and "increased
usage" from the homes on the water out here. Your proposal will add five more possible
complainants.
Seven more homes equal fourteen more cars coming in and out of that little corner.
There are small children on both sides of the street on this corner. Moreover, fourteen
more cars on River Drive is not desirable.
Also of concern is service for garbage, mail and personal parking for each of the
residences.
Once again, I am shocked at this proposal and feel it is strictly for monetary gain.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Poletti
3121 Fairway Drive
Stockton, California 95204-1105
(209)463-4422
