The report evaluates the
existing sewage disposal system and provides operating recommendations and proposes improvements
to the distribution and leachfields.
The proposed improvements are not consistent with setback requirements of the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department. The setback requirements are presented in Section 10.3.8 of the
November 1996 San Joaquin County Public Health Services Sewage Standards. The setback
requirements will limit the extent of the leachfield and seepage pit locations.
L Please submit a revised plan to dispose of the wastewater. Because of the limited space available for the
domestic wastewater disposal, Owens-Brockway may wish to consider evaporation/percolation ponds,
possibly with effluent reclamation in lieu of the leachfields. If you have any questions on this
information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
L
royR.
