`. 'Woe
May 4,2004
NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER E04029A
In the 1963 photo, several of the vineyards to the southeast of the subject property have been
converted into row crop land. A field road extends south from the residential area on the subject
property to the central field road. Larger sheds are apparent in the residential area of the
property. The subject property and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear unchanged from the
1952 photo.
In the 1975 photo, the creek through the subject property is no longer apparent. The barn and
sheds have been removed, and the area where the barn stood has been converted into crop land.
A new structure is now located to the south of the residence and garage, and a smaller new
structure is located to the northeast. Two ponds can now be seen along the road bisecting the
property. Vineyards to the south have been converted into crop land. The subject property and
its immediate vicinity otherwise appear unchanged from the 1963 photo.
In the 1983 photo, the subject property and its immediate vicinity appear unchanged from the
1975 photo. The entire property with the exception of the residential area appears to be planted
with row crops.
In the 1993 photo, the southeast corner of the subject property appears to be bare land. New
residences are apparent to the east of the subject property, across Little John's Creek. The subject
property and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear unchanged from the 1983 photo.
These photos are included in Appendix C of this report.
2.3 USGS Topographic Maps
The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey,Peters,
California,7.5 minute Series (topographic) quadrangle map. Maps available at the Cesar Chavez
Central Library in Stockton and Microsoft Terraserver were reviewed. The Peters quadrangle
edition of 1952, photorevised 1968, with a minor revision 1994, was available at the Chavez
Library. The same map was available through Terraserver.
-- In this map, the subject property is depicted with three buildings existing as of 1952. Two
additional buildings were added to the site in the 1968 photorevision. An intermittent stream is
depicted crossing the subject property. Adjacent land is depicted as open land and vineyard.
Three buildings are shown to the north of the subject property. The subject property is depicted
at 65 to 75 feet above mean sea level.
This map is included in Appendix C of this report.
4
