TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS <br /> Topographic maps for the years 1953,1968,1979 (by EDR)were examined.No structures or <br /> .. wells are depicted on the site until the irrigation well appears on the 1968 map. The existing <br /> residence(constructed in 1972)is located near the NE corner of the parcel and shows on the <br /> photo revised, 1979 map. (See 1993 map for location of the parcel) The land contour elevation is <br /> shown on the 1993 Map as approximately 95'. The land slopes southwesterly. The Lodi Gas <br /> Field is shown approximately 1 mile westerly from the site. <br /> RECORDS REVIEW <br /> The SJC Agricultural Commissioner's office checked for any record of chemical use permits. <br /> None were found in the last 5 years. Report is included in Appendix "D". <br /> ADDITIONAL RECORD SOURCES <br /> The EDR Radius Map with Geocheck, dated December 10,2003 is included in this report. No <br /> listings in the vicinity(Yz mile) of the site were observed. The S&R Egg Ranch at 10710 E. <br /> Collier Road is listed as a Cortese Site.(1993 confirm leak, 1996 Close)The SJC Assessor's Map, <br /> Book 007,Page 30 is also included and shows the surrounding 10 acre parcels. Some of the <br /> ` parcels have been subdivided into 5 acre parcels. <br /> UTILITIES <br /> The available utilities are electricity and telephone. The new 5 acre parcel proposed will require <br /> a well and on site septic unless the existing irrigation well proves satisfactory. A domestic well <br /> ., serves the residence. The well was tested by FarWest Labs and is satisfactory. (See App."O")The <br /> records at EHD, SJC were researched for repairs of record for on site septic systems. Additionally <br /> four well logs were examined on N. Sowles Road and sand or course sand was found present at a <br /> strata above 25'in each of the logs. The file folder at EHD could not be located for 24951 N. <br /> Sowles Road by the EHD representative. <br /> SITE RECONNAISSANCE AND OWNER STATEMENT <br /> The site was visited on December 13,2003. Typical photographs are included in this <br /> report.(App."C'). Typical pasture shows in photos"D", "F"and"G". The barn and feed bin <br /> appear in photo"C". An Environmental Questionnaire was mailed to the owner and returned <br /> completed and signed by Mary Cook. Owner stated no chemical use permits were obtained. The <br /> site is located in Sec 10,T. 4 N. R. 7 E. No use of chemicals or fuel dumps were observed in the <br /> visual inspection. At least three dogs were observed chained in various locations. The barn area <br /> was accessed by crossing the fence(south side of front yard)and proceeding west to the barn <br /> area. There appeared to be sufficient manure in the pasture to preclude the need for fertilizer. <br /> 3. <br />
