SA-89-45 OF BMG2
ENTERPRISES (THOMPSON AND HYSELL ENGINEERS)
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Planning Division has reviewed the above-referenced application
and has found that we do not have enough information to complete
our environmental review of the project. At the Pre-Application
Conference a Caltrans letter was given to the applicant indicating
that a traffic study would be required. The applicant proposed the
use of the traffic information in the Country Squires EIR.
Caltrans and San Joaquin County Public Works have .agreed to accept
the Country Squires EIR traffic information, but will still need
a supplemental study concerning the extra large truck loads . Ken
Baxter of Caltrans will supply the applicant with the scope of the
study.
The other area of concern is the ground water contamination from
Sharpe Army Depot. There are apparently three monitoring wells on
this project' s property . Lease arrangements for access with the
Depot must be worked out.
Action on this application will be held in abeyance until reports
on the above two matters are received . With the receipt of these
reports the Initial Environmental Study can be completed .
Subject to project approval , the Planning Division would recommend
the following conditions of approval :
Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval shall be
complied with prior to the establishment of the use and the
issuance of any building permits .
