The permit was for a repair of the septic system.
L3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History
L One septic repair permit was found for the address 11510 West Highway 12 during file review at
EHD on January 15,2007.The permit is for the addition of a 100 foot leach line to the existing
system.
L3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
L In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed a
recent aerial photograph of the subject property available from GoogleTM Maps.com,
(Googlemaps.com). We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the site, and made
L the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined
that there are a minimum of five septic systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site.
The general area consists of agriculture with a few scattered residences.
L3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
LNo septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD on
January 15, 2007.
L The septic systems in the area most likely use leach lines or filter beds because of shallow
groundwater in the area.
- 3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
L One septic system repair permit was found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD on
January 15,2007.The permit was dated January 26, 1977 and was for the installation of a 100 foot
by 10 foot seepage bed.
L3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
LThe maximum expected on-site septic tank usage for each parcel on the property would be for a
primary residence and a secondary dwelling.
