L <br /> November 18,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05144A <br /> L ✓2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> L from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr. Ed Criag, owner of the subject property. He completed <br /> L the questionnaire and returned it to NOA on October 24, 2005. A copy of his responses has been <br /> included in this report as Appendix E. <br /> In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr. Craig indicated that he acquired the property in 1996 from <br /> L Tiechent Aggregate and Construction. To the best of his knowledge, the property has been used for <br /> agricultural purposes of vineyards,grazing land for cattle,walnut orchards,and crops of peppers and <br /> asparagus. In addition,the land was used by Tiechent to mine sands and gravels. <br /> L <br /> /Mr.Mr. Craig indicated that the land is presently used as a vineyard. Mr. Craig indicates that agricultural <br /> I chemicals are being used on the property and that the vineyard is operated by the Lange Twins and they <br /> L should be contacted for chemical use information. He was not aware of any tanks or chemical spills <br /> on the property. <br /> An interview with Mr. Craig was conducted at the subject property on November 14,2005. Mr.Craig <br /> indicated that sulphur was used on the vineyard and was stored temporarily in the barn along Highway <br /> j 12 prior to its use. The site was been graded and debris left by the previous occupants has been <br /> �. removed. <br /> ✓ According to Mr.Craig,one domestic well (located in APN 023-110-12)has been turned off and is not <br /> L in current use;one irrigation well (located in APN 023-110 08&09) has been turned off and is not in <br /> current use; and one domestic well (located in APN 023-110-01) has been installed in about the year <br /> 2000 and could be used by a nearby building pad location. A pumping station located along <br /> Mokelumne River was present but has not been in use since before 1996 according to Mr. Craig. <br /> Mr. Craig indicated that the vineyard is irrigated by a agricultural well located near the shed at the top <br /> Lof the bluff(see site map). The domestic well for the residence is located at the base of the bluff(see <br /> site map). <br /> L /Randy Lange of LangeTwins was contacted on November 17,2005 in regards to the chemicals used on <br /> the vineyards. Mr.Lange has provided a list of chemicals that have been applied to the ground for the <br /> past three years (see Section 3.1.5). <br /> L <br /> L <br /> 5 <br /> L <br />
