Recommendations <br /> Action <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration; <br /> 2. Forward General Plan Map Amendment No. PA-0400620 to the Board of Supervisors with a <br /> recommendation for approval based on the ability to make the required "Basis for General Plan <br /> Map Amendment;" and <br /> 3. Forward Zone Reclassification No. PA-0500025 to the Board of Supervisors with a <br /> recommendation for approval based on the ability to make the required "Bases for Zone <br /> Reclassification." <br /> Basis for General Plan Map Amendment <br /> 1. The internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in adoption of the Map Amendment. <br /> • This determination can be made because the proposed location is adjacent to parcels <br /> designated as Freeway Services Commercial (C/FS) and Truck Terminal (I/T) on the County <br /> General Plan Map. Additionally,the proposed project site is located on State Route Highway <br /> 12 and is within one road mile of Interstate 5. As a result, all development and locational <br /> criteria can be met. <br /> Bases for Zone Reclassification <br /> 1. The proposed zone is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master Plan, and any <br /> applicable Specific Plan. <br /> • This determination can be made because, if the General Plan Map Amendment is <br /> approved, the proposed I-T (Truck Terminal) zone is a consistent implementing zone for <br /> the I/T (Truck Terminal) designation. <br /> 2. The proposed zone district is reasonable and beneficial at the time (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 812.4). <br /> • This determination can be made because the proposed location is in close proximity to <br /> Interstate 5 and has frontage along State Route Highway 12. <br /> San Joaquin County PA-0400620, PA-0500025/Alegre <br /> Community Development Page 5 <br />
