L LDecember 5,2005 NOA Project Number: E05118A 2.4 Interviews An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property L from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed to the best of her knowledge,by Mrs.Kathy Reinstein,owner of the subject property,on September 20,2005. A copy of her responses has been included in this report Las Appendix E. In her responses to the questionnaire,Mrs.Reinstein indicated that Thomsen Farms,Inc.acquired the L property in 1968 from Nettie Reece. The property is being used as an almond orchard. She indicated that no polluting activities occur on the property with the exception of burning tree prunings.She stated that no fuel or other chemical storage tanks,pesticides,paints or other chemicals stored in drums,sacks or other containers greater than five gallons are located on the property. No spills, leaks or other releases of chemicals on the property have occurred,according to her responses. L3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION L3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the L location of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. 3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks(LUST) list (October 2005), the Water Purveyors QuarteryReport on MTBE(October 2005),and the Spills,Leaks,Investigations,and Cleanups(SI-TC)list(1 s` L Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)°in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile L radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases;however, two addresses within a quarter mile radius of the subject property were found on the SLIC list on file with the CVRWQCB: i �.
