L <br /> LDecember 5,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05118A <br /> L 2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1963, 1975 and 1983 were reviewed at the San <br /> Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California'. One additional photo, dated 1993, was <br /> obtained from Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1963 photo,the subject property appears to be used for agriculture.There is what appears to be <br /> a residence near the northeastern comer of the property.A residence appears to the immediate east of <br /> the property. <br /> LIn the 1975 photo, the property appears relatively unchanged. It is unclear whether the residence still <br /> exists in the northeastern corner of the property due to the poor quality of the aerial image. The <br /> Lresidence still exists to the immediate east of the subject property. <br /> In the 1983 photo,the residence in the northeastern comer of the subject property no longer exists.The <br /> + southern half of the subject property appears to have been planted with orchard.The northern half is <br /> L still being used for agriculture. <br /> L In the 1993 photo,the northern half of the subject property appears to have been planted with orchard. <br /> Route 33 is visible to the east as well as Route 132 to the immediate north. The subject property and <br /> its immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> LThese photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> i <br /> V. 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> L One 7.5 minute map dated 1991 was available through Microsoft Terraserver;. In the 1991 map, the <br /> subject property is depicted as an agricultural field.Route 132 defines its northern boundary. Railroad <br /> tracks run along the northeastern comer of the property. The Hetch Hereby Aqueduct runs near its <br /> southern boundary. The property is depicted from approximately 105 to 135 feet above mean sea level <br /> L and sloping down to the northeast at a rate of approximately ten feet per mile.
