Duke and Associates, the proposed development for the <br /> property is to demolish an existing residence on the property and build a small wine tasting <br /> facility. The wine tasting room is expected to have four (4) employees working six (6) days a <br /> week normal business hours, 8:00 to 5:00 P.M. The facility is hoping to serve approximately 8 <br /> to 10 customers per day. The tasting room will also have approximately four (4) marketing <br /> events per year with an average of 40 to 50 guests attending each event. <br /> 1.1.3 Site Vicinitv <br /> 4 is to vicinity map is included in the appendix of this report as Plate 2. <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> 1.1.4 Site Map <br /> A site map is included in the appendix of this report as Plate 1. <br /> 1.2 Present and Past Uses of the Site <br /> X1.2.1 Past and Present Site Use <br /> The majority of the property is and has been planted in vineyard. A residence occupied a small <br /> portion of the property, but has recently been demolished. Foundation construction of the wine <br /> tasting facility was taking place at the time of a site visit, conducted on August 20, 2008. <br /> 1.3 Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage <br /> 1.3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage <br /> According to David Duke of D.R. and Associates, there are no septic systems currently on the <br /> Site. There was a septic system associated with the residence; however, the septic system was <br /> demolished along with the house. One septic installation permit was found for 1100 West <br /> Turner Road during a recent file review at the EHD. The permit appears to be for the subject <br /> property, but as previously mentioned, the current address for the Site is 1150 West Turner <br /> Road.
