6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS
6.1 Environmental Health Department Records
The EHD was contacted regarding the Site address of 2651 West Turner Road.
According to Cheryl Field of the EHD, no environmental records are on file for this
address (personal communication, March 4, 2013).
Live Oak requested copies of the well and septic permits on file at the EHD for the Site
address of 2651 West Turner Road. According to Diane Martinez, no permits were
identified (personal communication, February 15, 2013). However, one permit which
most likely refers to the Site was identified under the address of 1973 West Turner
Road. This permit, from January of 1996, is for a repair to a turbine pump at an
irrigation well. It has been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated sites
through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the
Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The SWRCB's GeoTracker database
includes underground storage tank (UST) sites, leaking underground storage tank
(LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land disposal sites. The database can be
searched by reviewing two lists, the Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites
list and the Cleanup Sites list. DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund
sites, State response sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective
action sites, and permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on February 23, 2013 for any listed sites within one-
quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database, and no , ,-L-3.5)
listed facilities were identified within the search radius.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated July
21 , 2011, for surrounding facilities of concern. No listed facilities were identified within 3-3.5)
one-quarter mile of the Site.
Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby C,0
addresses that have been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Five
nearby wells were identified at addresses located within approximately 1.5 miles of the
Site. All of the wells were tested for DBCP. DBCP was not detected in two wells; it was
LOGE 1302 Page 4
