Your Department would certainly receive a <br /> significant number of legitimate objections from Brookside residents concerned <br /> about their quality of life and value of their homes. <br /> • The proposed location for the project's sewage detention pond is very poor. It is <br /> near the lowest ground elevation of all three-property parcels. Ground water at <br /> the location shown is approximately four(4) feet below the surface. Unless the <br /> detention pond is fully lined it will be impossible to retain all liquid and solid <br /> wastes on the property premises, as liquids will percolate into the ground water. <br /> This tainted ground water will then seep/flow to adjoining properties and their <br /> irrigation drainage ditches. Irrigation water from the subject land presently <br /> seeps/flows to adjoining parcels. <br /> Please note that my comments dated November 15, 2005 for the original application still <br /> apply to the Revised: Project Description.
