Church
The Church will seat 2000 people. There will be two masses on Saturday night, between 5 pm
and 8 pm. These masses will average approximately 1000 people each. There will be three
morning masses on Sunday, between 7 am and 12 pm. These masses will average 1000 people
each. Masses will be added for special celebrations (Christmas and Easter). There will be a
children's mass on Christmas Eve Evening, that will be at capacity, and a midnight mass that
will be at capacity. The normal Sunday schedule will be implemented on Christmas Day,and
average attendance will be closer to capacity. On Easter, an Easter vigil will be added, and the
normal Sunday schedule will be implemented on Easter Sunday. These celebrations should also
have an average attendance close to capacity.
There will be a daily 8 am mass in the chapel, with an average attendance of less than 50 people.
There will be one wedding each Saturday afternoon from May through November, with an
average attendance of 300 people.
For Sunday and special celebration masses, our parishioners mainly attend as families, so our
average persons per vehicle are approximately 3.5, and for daily masses the average per vehicle
is closer to 2. The masses will be spaced so there are no conflicts between cars leaving one Mass
and others arriving for the next Mass.
The Church support space will include classrooms. These classrooms will be primarily used in
the afternoon and early evening hours, Monday-Friday. They will be used by groups that will
range in size from 5—50.
School
The school will be a two classroom K-8 school, with an enrollment of 450 students and a
traditional school calendar. Based on our current experience, we estimate there will be 350
families, and about 200 vehicles at drop-off and pick-up. Drop-off will occur at approximately 8
am, and pick-up will be at approximately 3 pm. Religious education will remain at the Eaton
Campus, so there are no anticipated additional uses of the school.
The parents will be directed to enter the drop-off and pick-up area through the most southerly
ingress off Corral Hollow Road. This will allow the cue to form onsite on the very long
perimeter road around the church to the school, minimizing any cueing impacts on local roads.
The egress will be onto Valpico Road from one of the two egress points.
Multi-Purpose Room
During school hours, the multi-purpose room will be used only for school activities. After
school hours during the week, it will be used for practices for school athletic teams.
During the weekend, the multi-purpose room will be used for basketball games. The basketball
games occur on Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm and Sundays from 12 pm—6 pm, from November
through March. There is a game every hour during that time. Each game will generate
approximately 15 vehicles.
