They are formed in alluvium derived from <br /> mixed rock sources. Soils in the Exeter series are fine and loamy in nature and on slopes <br /> from 0 to 2 percent. <br /> From 0 to 8 inches depth, the soil is dark brown in color with weak, course and <br /> angular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticks, and slightly plastic. It has many <br /> very fine and common fine roots and is slightly acid. <br /> From 8 to 13 inches depth, the soil is dark brown in color with weak, coarse <br /> angular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticky and slightly plastic with common <br /> very fine and few fine roots. <br /> From 13 to 26 inches depth, the soil is brown in color, moist, with weak, coarse <br /> slrangular blocky structure. It is very hard, slightly sticky and slightly plastic with <br /> common very fine roots. It is mildly alkaline. <br /> From 26 to 29 inches depth, the soil is brown in color, sand clay loam.
