Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report—APN: 229-220-024,025—To adjust two(2)Parcels) <br /> totaling 96.7 acres into one parcel,Parcel A, containing 15 acres and a second parcel,Parcel B,cont- <br /> aining 81.7 acres and then separating out Parcel B(81.7 acres)for future use and development. <br /> Maps entitled"DBCP and Nitrate—Land Use" available in the Environmental <br /> Health Department's office were consulted and contained the following chemical <br /> concentrations information in the area of the subject property: (3.2 -3.3) <br /> The subject property is in an area where no Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> concentrations have been detected. <br /> The subject property is also in an area known to contain less than 20 parts per <br /> million Nitrate concentrations. <br /> According to the aforementioned maps DBCP and Nitrates are not known to be J <br /> contamination contributors on the subject property. <br /> 4.5 Chemical Use In Croa Production: The San Joaquin County Agricultural <br /> Commissioner's Office was requested to access their files and report on any recorded <br /> restricted product permit applications and product applications by the property owner <br /> over the last five(5)years on a portion of the northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 1 <br /> South,Range 9 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County, California. <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office has responded in <br /> their report dated April 12, 2004 and their findings are summarized in the attached table <br /> entitled "San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner/s Office Pesticides and <br /> Herbicides Permit and Use Report". <br /> 4.6 Offsite Possible Contamination Contributors: The subject property is in and <br /> surrounded by an area devoted to agricultural pursuits and this is verified by the 2010 <br /> zoning ALI0. The subject property is situate remote from any businesses, commercial <br /> and industrial pursuits and so is not likely to be subjected to any off site contamination <br /> contributors. The Maps entitled"DBCP and Nitrate—Land Use"available in the �3 3•�' <br /> Environmental Health Department's office also show that the subject property is in the <br /> midst of an area known to have Nitrate(NO3)concentrations less than 20 ppm and has <br /> not been sampled for Dibromochloropropane(DBCP)concentrations. According to the <br /> aforementioned DBCP and Nitrate maps,the subject property will not be subjected to any / <br /> undue contamination from off-site sources. <br /> 5.0 Soil Character: The University of California publication entitled"Soils of San <br /> Joaquin County, California",by Walter W. Weir, dated June 1952, identifies two soils to <br /> be on the subject property are known as Madera Sandy Loam and Madera-San Joaquin <br /> Sandy loam complex. <br /> MADERA SANDY LOAM <br /> Madera soils are brown or grayish-brown,maturely developed terrace soils <br /> derived from mixed but predominately granitic material.
