Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br /> 2329 East Vine Street, Stockton, CA- Page 11 GPI Environmental Management <br /> 5.0 SITE RECONNAISSANCE FINDINGS <br /> 5.1 Hazardous Substance and Processes <br /> At the time of this investigation, no regulated quantities of hazardous materials are present at the subject <br /> property. It is not anticipated that future operations at the subject property will involve the generation, use, <br /> storage and/or disposal of regulated quantities of petroleum fuel products, agricultural chemicals and/or other <br /> regulated hazardous materials and wastes. <br /> There is no reconnaissance evidence that the subject property have been used for the disposal or storage of <br /> solid waste. Discolored soils, chemically stressed vegetation or noxious odors were not detected on, or adjacent (3.Z <br /> to,the subject property. <br /> 5.2 Storage Tanks <br /> Based on our site reconnaissance, there is no visual evidence of underground storage tank(s) as indicated by <br /> filler caps and/or vent pipes. There is no other historical documentation suggesting that petroleum products have <br /> been delivered and/or stored at the subject property. <br /> There are no available records to indicate that heating fuel has been delivered to the subject property. <br /> Combustible fuel has previously been and is currently supplied to the subject and adjacent properties from /3.2- <br /> underground natural gas lines maintained by Pacific Gas& Electric. l <br /> _ <br /> 5.3 Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) <br /> Electrical service to the subject and adjacent properties is delivered in underground utility corridors along East <br /> Vine Street. Over-head electric transmission lines are located along eastern and northern property boundaries. <br /> The nearest pole-mounted transformers were observed to the north of the subject property and adjacent to the <br /> northwestern property comer. According to a PG&E spokesperson, all existing electrical transformers <br /> maintained by the company in the San Joaquin County are designated as PCB-free. <br /> There is no visual or documented evidence of industrial processes, elevators or electrical equipment at the <br /> subject property that are associated with PCB storage or disposal. J <br /> 5.4 Solid Waste Disposal <br /> There is no reconnaissance evidence that the subject property has been used for the disposal of liquid or solid <br /> wastes. Sunset Disposal provide disposal of solid waste from the subject and adjacent properties. <br /> 5.5 Surface and Subsurface Drainage <br /> Principal storm runoff is directly by overland gravity flow from subject property to East Vine Street into storm <br /> drain inlets along East Vine Street. <br /> The Federal Emergency Management agency (FEMA) has classified the subject property not within Zone Al <br /> (areas of 100-year flooding with base flood elevations and flood hazards identified within this zone). No naturally <br /> ` occurring wetlands or drainage basins are present near the subject property. <br /> 5.6 Asbestos-containing Building Materials <br /> No structures are present on the subject property, thus no suspect asbestos-containing building materials are <br /> present. Transite (asbestos-cement) water lines/culverts may have been utilized along East Vine Street and/or <br /> other utility easements. Removal and/or repair of the underground water lines/culverts would be the responsible <br /> of the utility owners. <br /> 5.7 Lead-based Paints <br /> ►- No structures are present on the subject property, thus no suspect lead-based/containing building materials are <br /> present. <br />
