Phase I Environmental Site Assessment GPI Environmental Management <br /> 2329 East Vine Street, Stockton, CA- Page 12 <br /> _ 5.8 Pits and Sumps <br /> There are no indications of on-site sumps, ground water wells, injection wells,drywells, pits,clarifiers, or disposalZ-3 s� <br /> wells were observed at the subject property. <br /> 5.9 Wetlands <br /> Based on the current land use, observations made during the site inspection and the definition of wetland areas <br /> as described by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers, the subject property is <br /> located within an suburban area and are not located on or adjacent to wetland areas. <br /> 5.10 Other Information <br /> There is no documented information to indicate that the subject or surrounding properties have any historical, <br /> scientific or cultural resources that may restrict future use of the property. <br /> There is no evidence to indicate that the subject property has been used as a sanitary or industrial landfill. <br /> hospitals, medical offices or other facilities that may have generated medical wastes are located nearby. <br /> There is no documented information to indicate that the subject and/or the adjacent properties have been utilized <br /> for agricultural uses since at least 1930. <br /> No radon studies for the subject property were performed during this investigation. However,the soils underlying <br /> the subject property are not typically associated with radon outgassing. The State of California Department of <br /> Health Services has conducted a statewide radon survey and has published their findings in a compiled Radon <br /> Database for California database dated October 2002. The results indicate that 16.67 percent of the homes <br /> (based on six results) within the subject property zip code are predicted to have a radon level greater that the <br /> United States Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA) recommended action level of greater than 4.0 <br /> picocuries per Liter(pCi/L). <br />
