The property and vicinity otherwise remain relatively unchanged from the previous <br /> photo. <br /> In the 1975 photo, the orchards at the center and southern portions of the property are no <br /> longer evident. The property and vicinity otherwise remain relatively unchanged from the <br /> previous photo. <br /> In the 1983 photo, the subject property and vicinity remain relatively unchanged from the <br /> previous photo. <br /> In the 1998 photo, the property appears to be an open field and the orchards are no longer <br /> evident. A subdivision can be seen adjacent to the eastern edge of the property. <br /> In the 2002 photo, the property appears to be relatively unchanged from the previous photo <br /> with the exception of a possible covered row crop which is evident at the center of the <br /> property. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land <br /> uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> _ 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, <br /> Garden Acres Park, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1987, was <br /> obtained from Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1987 map, the property is located approximately 30 feet above mean sea level. The <br /> property is depicted as agricultural land with three structures. The surrounding land is <br /> depicted as residential to the north, vacant and agricultural land to the east with scattered <br /> structures and agricultural to the west. <br /> This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the <br /> subject property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An <br /> Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Robert Caffese, <br /> Owner of the subject property, on March 1, 2007. A copy of the responses has been included <br /> _ in this report as Appendix E. <br /> In responses to the questionnaire, Mr. Caffesse indicated that he purchased the property in <br /> _ 2006 and 2007. The property was used for farming with a walnut orchard during the 1960's <br /> and a house located at the corner of Walker Lane and Main Street was removed approximately = <br /> five years ago.
