Walker Bt Main Property Page 4 Our Project Number: E07021A March 15, 2007 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION 3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. 3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (January 2007), the Water Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE (January 2007), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLIC) list (1'` Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)4 in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases, and no addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on the databases. 3.1.2 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department _ According to Diane Martinez' of the EHD, no files were available for the subject property addresses of 748 & 808 South Walker Lane and 5205 East Main Street. The Leaking Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated April 3, 2006 and the �3 LOP/Non-LOP Sites list, dated July 20, 2004, were reviewed at the EHD on February 13, 2007. No listed sites were found within one-quarter mile of the subject project. l 3.1.3 San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) website6 was searched on February 13, 2007 in an attempt to determine whether hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject property. No records were found for the subject property. According to Michelle Halliwell' of the OES, the following incident reports are on file at that agency for the subject property or properties within one-quarter mile: Address Date Incident 5059 E.
