5655 Add 40' LL + sump
5950 Add 2 pits(Winery)
6400 New service for bathroom in barn, 1988. New septic tank 2004.
6685 Destroy house. Add 2nd unit dwelling.
ll GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION
The map Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater, Spring 99 indicate approximately 50 feet to
static water. The gradient of the aquifer is southerly towards the Mokelumne River. This area has
- few residences. The domestic well was sampled and tested for DBCP/Nitrates by the FarWest
Laboratories, Inc., of Riverbank, Ca. The test results were satisfactory. ( DBCP <0.01 and
Nitrate 2.9) Copy of test report and Logbook Record are included.
'r SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION
y The General Soil Map of SJC describes the soil in this area as Jacktone-Ilollenbeck-Stockton, up
to 60" deep. The soils are fine textured down to the hardpan. A 10' hole was hand augured, 6"
in diamenter, to examine the soil. The fine texture (sand & silt) was continuous in the 10' hole. At
8' the soil was tan in color, damp and more difficult to remove. Above the tan layer was darker
colored soil, moist from the recent rains. All the soil removed from the holes were fine textured,
non-plastic. No water was standing in the grape vineyard. Several days of rain preceded the tests.
Hard pan probably exists prior to the 25' level. Additional discussion is contained in the
percolation test information section.
USGS MAP
- The USGS Map Lockeford, CA., shows the 65' contour runs thru a portion of the parcel. The
land is basically flat. South of the parcel the Iand slopes southerly to the Mokelume river.
PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION
All test holes of the three parcels were 6" in diameter, sleeved with 4" PVC, 2" of gravel in the
bottom and around the lower 6" of the PVC sleeve. 12" of water was placed in each test hole to
begin the presoak period.
The tentative map shows the location of the test holes. In this type of soil the location of the
- leach field does not appear critical. The included tentative parcel map delineates the LLA lot
configuration. No new lots are created. On Parcel 2 and 3 two holes were augured on each lot to
a depth of 42" on Jan.21, 2005. The presoak period began on Jan. 24, 2005 at 1000 hours. The
percolation tests began on Jan. 25 at 1000 hours. The holes were all dry after the 24 hour presoak
period. The four holes were tested for several hours to see any variation. When the inspector
arrived two holes were abandoned leaving one hole on each of the two lots. No deep holes were
augured for testing. The test conformed to SJC Policy EHD 02-02. Procedure #2.The inspector
was Lisa Medina, Sr. RENS, who was present for the required readings on Jan. 25 and Feb. 3,
2005
2.
