i hypochlorite and Nalco 7364 (5 percent sodium tolyltrazole)
added to the circulating water to inhibit scale formation.
The TDS of the cooling tower blowdown will range from 833 ppm
to 2327 ppm.
Boiler Blowdown wastes:
To prevent buildup of dissolved solids within the Heat
Recovery Boiler, a constant flow of condensate will be bled
from the boiler. This flow will be vented to the atmosphere
under pressure, but will result in (3 gpm) of boiler blowdown
water being routed to the Waste Water Treatment System. The
constituents in the boiler blowdown waste stream will consist
almost entirely of water treatment chemicals. The boiler
feedwater itself will have been purified by the RO and
demineralizer units. The boiler blowdown will contain sodium,
phosphates, morpholine, polymethacrylate, and carbohydrazide
from the treatment chemicals. Elimin-ox and Nalco 352 are
volatile products, and most of the carbohydrazide and
morpholine will be released from vent in the blowdown tank.
Less than 5 percent of these residues are expected to be in
the boiler blowdown.
Section C - Well Construction
Casino and Cementing:
The conductor pipe is completed to a depth of about 30 feet,
is 16 inches in diameter, and is cemented to surface. The
surface casing is 10-3/4 inch diameter, and runs from the
ground surface to a depth of about 611 feet. The surface
casing was cemented from approximately 611 feet to the surface
with approximately 340 sacks of cement. The long string
casing is 7 inches in diameter and runs from the ground
surface to a depth of about 3660 feet. The long string casing
was cemented from 3660 feet to the surface with approximately
1274 sacks of cement. A net 222 feet of perforations were
shot within the interval 4234 feet and 4573 feet for the
Domengine formation.
Tubing and Packer Specifications:
Injection may take place only through 4-1/2 inch tubing with
a BAKER Lok-Set PACKER set within the long string casing. The
tubing and packer shall be maintained to prevent the movement
of fluids into an underground source of drinking water. The
tubing and packer shall be corrosion-resistant and of suf-
ficient strength to resist wellbore pressures developed during
the life of the well. The casing/tubing annulus will be
filled with corrosion inhibited fluid. Injection between the
outermost casing and the wellbore is prohibited.
5
