E . # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone : ( 209 ) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the Noreen Thompson property , <br /> MS-98-27 , to create and separate out a 2 . 0 acre parcel homesite , <br /> Parcel No . 1 , from a present 10 . 25 acre parcel . The new 2 . 0 acre <br /> parcel is for residential purposes and is centered on the portion <br /> of the 10 . 25 acre parcel that fronts on Calimyrna Road . The present <br /> 10 . 25 acre parcel has a home , a storage building , a well and a <br /> septic system in the southeast corner of the parcel . The remainder <br /> of the designated reminder parcel of the property is unimproved and <br /> presently used to graze horses . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> the percolation tests conducted on the Doreen Thompson property <br /> located at 3151 East Woodson Road , Acampo , California 95220 . <br /> Existing Septic Systems : Existing San Joaquin County records were <br /> reviewed for the subject property as well as the area in the <br /> immediate vicinity of the subject property . <br /> Seven (7 ) permits were studied and all the systems reviewed <br /> were installed between August 14 , 1968 and September 15 , 1995 . <br /> None of the seven (7 ) permits studied were within the <br /> boundaries covered in this report . <br /> Four (4) permits were for new installations utilizing a <br /> combination of leach lines with 36" to 42" diameter and twenty-five <br /> ( 25) feet deep seepage pits at their ends . One permit was noted for <br /> repairing the installed facilities which consisted of replacing <br /> three ( 3 seepage pits with two ( 2) seepage pits , 36" in diameter . <br /> Two permits were for adding to the existing facilities . One ( 1 ) <br /> repair permit added a 33" X 25 ' deep seepage pit with a 100 ' long <br /> leach line . The other repair permit added two ( 2 ) , 36" X25 ' deep <br /> seepage pits . <br /> Four (4) of the seven (7 ) permits studied 1 i sted the so i 1 type <br /> as hardpan and two ( 2) of the seven permits studied listed the soil <br /> type as clay .
