October 6,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05115A <br /> /2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1940,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton,California.Z One additional photo,dated 1993, <br /> was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> ✓ In the 1940 photo,the subject property appears to consist of portions of Tracy Lake,Jahant Slough,and <br /> the surrounding grazing land. A vineyard is apparent to the southeast. <br /> .� In the 1952 photo,it appears that row crops are being grown to the south of the property. The subject <br /> property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> /In the 1963 photo, the crop land to the south has expanded in area. The subject property appears <br /> relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> ✓In the 1975 photo,the roads which define the boundaries of the subject property are visible. A pond <br /> can be seen to the northeast of the property. The land to the north and east of the subject property is <br /> crossed by field roads at regular intervals. <br /> In the 1983 photo,vineyard has been planted in the fields to the north and east of the subject property. <br /> The subject property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> In the 1993 photo, fewer field roads are apparent to the north and east of the subject property. The <br /> subject property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> /2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey,Lodi North, <br /> California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 photorevised in 1976 was available <br /> through Microsoft Terraserver.' <br /> !✓In the 1976 map,the subject property is depicted as a portion of Tracy Lake,Jahant Slough, and the <br /> surrounding land. Fence lines are depicted at approximately the subject property boundaries.
