This <br /> property is in transition from agricultural uses to a storm drainage basin. Historical research has <br /> shown this land to have been used agriculturally since the 1900's. The major enviromnental <br /> concern for this area were the contamination of the soil from extended use of pesticides and <br /> herbicides. Miss Young recommended additional investigation at this property, including: <br /> sampling of the surface soil; sampling of well water within the regulations of its intended use; <br /> and a preliminary asbestos survey of all structures on site. <br /> Staff Geologist/4/99 <br />
